Membership

Anyone that has a relationship with Celiac Disease is welcome as a member.  That includes those with the disease, as well as family members, care takers, and friends.  We are all in this together.  Guests from the medical or dietary field are always welcome to meetings, and do not require membership.

Dues

• $10.00 per year for renewing members
  This includes the entire family at the same address.
  
• $20.00 per year for new members
  This covers your membership plus the cost of the New-Member Packet.
  
• Date for Renewal
  The date for your renewal dues is listed on the mailing label of your Newsletter, or on the "TO" line for e-mail receivers.
• On-line Membership Registration can be completed by sending your: Name, Address, Phone Number, and E-mail address to rhhuiting@sbcglobal.net.  Your membership fee can be brought with you to the next meeting.
  

Cel-Kids

 

 

 

The Cel-Kids Network is a support group for
youth, parents, families and friends of youth living
with celiac disease (CD) and dermatitis
herpetiformis (DH).

The focus is on the unique needs of youth who require a gluten-free diet. Youth with CD/DH share and learn from one another while having fun. Parents have the
opportunity to network with each other, share,
and learn about raising their children on a gluten-free
diet.

Generally, Cel-Kids meet at the same
time and place as the Fox Valley Celiacs Support
Group. Activities also are held at other times.

The Cel-Kids Network includes:
.. Participating in activities with other kids,
teens and young adults (high school and
college age) who are on a gluten-free diet.
.. Learning how to read labels, cook, plan,
and prepare gluten-free meals.
.. Discovering gluten-free treats and snacks.
.. Finding menu ideas for school lunches,
sport snacks and meals at home.
.. Educating teachers, schools and others
who are involved with celiac children.
.. Enjoying activities for all family members.
.. HAVING FUN!!!
